Abstract

Magazine is an Arabic word which means an instrument of transmission. Literary journals refer to journals in which creative works are published such as fiction, sketches, humor, interviews and articles based on research and criticism etc. Literary journals are monthly, quarterly; There are also annuals and books. My personal opinion is that magazines and newspapers are the spokesmen of the nation. Many topics that we do not find in books are found in journals. If we look at the literary journals of the 21st century, we will find Many literary journals are found, among which Kontakt, Adrak, Tafhim, Abhashar, Loh, Aaraq Adaab and Peyal etc. are on the top.

In the 21st century, there are many magazines whose editors' tastes and desires are more visible in their publication. These literary magazines are engaged in the service of literature day and night in their specific balanced and moderate style.  A few journals of the 21st century, including Dunyazad from Karachi, Roshnai, Ajra, Kolaz, Ehsaas from Peshawar, Nahum Haraf from Lahore, etc., are being published regularly.
