Abstract

Iqbal's poetic thought inspired the spirit of freedom in the nations and the spirit of liberation from slavery, unity and cooperation grew. Iqbal used poetry to fulfill special purposes. In Iqbal's thought, the most respected person in the universe is seen as human being. Iqbal made his thoughts and poetry the creative work of art. Thoughtful insight made Iqbal the sage of the nation. Iqbal freed poetry from the confines of luxury and purposefully developed national poetry. Keeping in mind the requirements of science and literature, he adopted an Ijtihadi style of thought. Be it a study of Iqbal's poetry or an intellectual and artistic review, Iqbal not only fulfills all criteria but also seems to lead thought and art on new paths.
