Hoor ki Adadi Hasiat

Abstract

Pir Naseeruddin Naseer was a religious scholar and poet of several languages. In addition to Urdu, he was also an expert scholar of Arabic and Persian. Pir Naseeruddin Naseer proposed to use the word HOOR as plural according to Arabic origin. Hoor, in Islamic point of view, the most beautiful Lady in Paradise, the True follower of Allah will be awarded 72 hoors.  In the article, it is reviewed and presented arguments for the word to be Mufarras by meaning and to use this word as singular in Urdu and Persian.
