Zafar Iqbal: The Trendsetter Poet

Abstract

Zafar Iqbal has created new era in Urdu poetry. His different expression of writing gives new outlook to readers. His words arrangement isn't traditional but his sincere and unconditional efforts towards poetry has created new aroma for readers of Urdu literature. The way he rejected traditional poetic trend and introduced different style to express inner and outer expression of feelings. Although he revolted from tradition yet he presented reality of life in his own way. We will try to explore his unique style of poetry, wording of verses, arrangement of words and his impression on poems in 21st century. We will also try to know how Zafar Iqbal try to convey his feelings through his unique diction and tone in the modern Urdu poem
