Abstract

Historical linguistics is a subfield of linguistics in which an investigation of the history of languages is used to learn about how languages are related, how languages change, and what languages were like hundreds and even thousands of years ago. In this study Lingual expert examine how changes come in particular language and how society, Time and Space works in this lingual process. In this article, we tries to find how even before written records of a language are related to historical studies of language. In this article, we tries to examine the role of historical linguistics in the process of language development. According to historical linguistics one language can be changed in the same process as particular lingually connected phonetic, Phonemes and semantic effects each other. In this article, we used qualitative research methodology to examine the situation. Primary sources from Urdu and English literature is used, which are mentioned in the references.
