Abstract

Deputy Nazir Ahmad is pioneer and Founding fiction writer of “Reformative Story telling” in urdu literature. According to contemporary fiction Nazir Ahmad is not a fiction writer and his novels can’t be recalls as Novel in Modern and strict manner because they do not fulfil the aspect’s modern novel standards. But this is truth that Deputy Nazir Ahmad’s novel present social realities of colonial period. At that tough time Muslims of sub continent faced identity crises and discouragement though Nazir Ahmad’s nobel emerged as a subtle medium to critique colonial imperialism. In his different works he advocated for women’s education and modern reinterpretations of Islamic conduct. There for he transcended official briefs by embedding a reformist agenda inspired by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan in colonial rule by East India Company. While literary experts appreciate progressive and Orientalist point of view in his fiction works and also his approach to Modernism. His novels also present anti-colonial thought and resistant against British Cultural epistemology. He discuss and recreate common people’s lives and really serious questions of colonial Muslim regime۔
