Abstract

This paper analyzes “Jehanabad Ki Galiyan” using the focalization theory, which focuses on the perspective from which a story is told. The paper explains how the narrative perspective shifts in the story and how these shifts affect the reader’s understanding of the events and characters. The analysis highlights how focalization adds depth to the story and reveals hidden meanings. This study aims to show how focalization is a useful tool for better understanding narratives in Urdu literature.
